If you’re out any weekend in Houston, you’re likely to bear witness (even partake) in King Elroy Boogie’s dancefloor experience. Just trust the people’s reaction, the mass on the floor, and the nod for Best DJ Night from Houston Press.

 

Elroy is known to work in a medley of hits with choice remix selections that work the crowd over no matter what night of the week it is. And as if these accomplishments weren’t enough, other folks beyond the dancefloor are taking notice of Elroy’s talent. He placed 3rd in the local 2011 Red Bull 3Style DJ showcase and is the official DJ for the annual Houston Sneaker Summit.

 

He’s also been tapped to perform at Hennessy Kaws’ release party, rock it alongside established national acts like Wu-Tang, Pharcyde, Big Sean, and A$AP Rocky, and play with rising local talent like Fat Tony and nosaprise to name a few. His affiliations run deep with NYC’s Nanachill and the all-mighty Kracker Nuttz, Houston’s best hip hop DJs.
